No Frills Airline Boosts Egypt Route from Budapest
Wizz Air will increase services between Budapest and Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt from three to ten flights a week from March 6, offering alternatives for passengers affected by the suspension of Middle East routes, the no frills airline said.

The additional flights are intended primarily for travellers who would have flown to or from Israel, as the airline says it currently provides one of the most viable connections between Israel and Europe.

Wizz Air has adjusted its schedule in response to regional airspace restrictions following the escalation of tensions in the region.

As a precaution, the airline has suspended flights to and from Israel, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and Amman until at least March 7.
