Today: Chocolat @ Budapest Palace Of Arts Cinema
Culinary pleasures have inspired many an artist throughout history, including famous filmmakers. Until February, Müpa Budapest offers a delicious selection of some of these landmark films.

From the organisers:

It is enought to think of the last feature film of Monthy Python, The Meaning of Life, which reviews the matters of life in 24 sketches – including the sickening depths of gastronomy.

The classic of Terry Gilliam, Brazil, handles the theme in a rather idiosyncratic way. Adventures from the butcher’s counter to picturesque feasts: films such as The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover, Pulp Fiction, Chocolat, and The Green Butchers also make an appearance in the sequence of exciting films.

The movies are shown in the original language with Hungarian subtitles.

Programs:

11 February 2019, 7 pm – Chocolat (2000)

Ticket prices: 1500 HUF

Venue:
Mupa
1095 Budapest, Komor Marcell u. 1.
