Budapest Marathon Expected To Draw 30,000

The 33rd SPAR Budapest Marathon Festival, a two-day event to be held on October 6-7, is expected to draw 30,000 people.

Due to construction works in the City Park, the start and finish of the marathon on Sunday will be relocated to the ELTE University Campus at the Lágymányosi Bridge.

The event drew a record 32,000 people in 2017. Fully 5,400 runners from 81 countries participated.
