Video: Hungary Slams EU's Migration Policy At UN
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto criticized the European Union's stance on migration in his address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York last Friday.

"Unfortunately I have to tell you that [the] European Union has failed while looking for an answer to this challenge," Szijjarto said.

"[the] European Union gave a very bad answer because instead of concentrating on how to stop the migratory flows, [the] European Union concentrated on how to encourage and how to manage the flows. And this is basically a policy of invitation."

Representatives of all 193 UN members' states gathered for the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly meeting, which took place between September 25 and October 1 in 2018.
