Hungarian Skaters Set World Record
The Olympic champion Hungarian men’s relay team set a new world record as they won the 5,000-metre event in the speedskating World Cup in Calgary on Sunday night.

Their time of 6 minutes 28.625 seconds broke the previous record held by the US of 6 minutes, 29.052 seconds for almost a year.

The team consists of the Chinese-Hungarian Liu brothers Shaolin and Shaoang, Cole Krueger, who formerly competed for the US, as well as Csaba Burján, a winner, with the Liu brothers, of Hungary’s first Winter Olympics gold medal last February.
