To most of us, August 20th is just another day... But to Hungarians, it's Szent István's Day - the National Holiday celebrating the founding of the Hungarian State. So, it's a pretty big deal and Budapest pulls out all the stops and really showcases the best of Hungarian culture.
It all culminates in a spectacular fireworks display on the Danube, with rockets shooting into the sky with the Budapest skyline as the backdrop.
Once you have wandered your way around the craft fairs, food stalls and events throughout the day, make your way down to the river bank and grab the best seat in the house with Budapest Boat Party.
We will be hosting a very special Szent István's Day cruise to celebrate in style.

Boarding from: 20:00
Location: Petőfi Tér Dock 9 Budapest 1052, Jane Haining Rakpart
The boat will remain docked until safety marshalls have instructed we can depart after the Fireworks Display (Approximately 21:30)
The boat will then cruise until 00:00 when our events team will guide guests to the free after party at Morrisons 2.
