China’s AliPay Starts In Hungary In May
The first AliPay-compatible terminals will begin operating in Hungarian shops for use by Chinese tourists in May, supplier the Ingenico Group announced on Tuesday.

AliPay is the leading QR code-based payment solution in China.

The introduction of the terminals is aimed at Chinese tourists, as they are not accessible by domestic users.

Purchasers read the QR code from the terminal from their mobiles to complete transactions.

The terminals in Hungary will be connected to UniCredit Bank.
