Hungarian Casinos Earn More, Pay Less Tax

The casinos paid Ft 4 billion in gaming tax, slightly less than a year earlier.
Concession licence fees paid by casinos can be deducted from the gaming tax, website 24 highlights, adding that as a result the government has missed out on more than Ft 13 billion in tax over the last three years.
LVC Diamond, owned by the late Andy Vajna, controls five casinos and paid a total licence fee of Ft 4.1 billion.
CAI, owned by István Garancsi, Cívis Grand and Onyx, owned by Gábor Szima, and Casino Win and Casino Win Pécs, both owned by Zoltán Rákosfalvy, each paid a licence fee of Ft 116 million.
