Forint Hits New Historic Low
The forint weakened to Ft 331.94 per euro on Tuesday, hitting a new record low, for the second time in a week.

Continuing gloom about the global economic outlook weakens the forint, as investors avoid riskier currencies.

The forint lost 0.55% of its value against the euro on Tuesday.

Comparing it to its peers, the forint is outstanding in a negative sense, as the Czech crown and Polish zloty have not weakened markedly.
