'Primanima' World Festival Of First Animations In Budapest, 30 October – 2 November
The Primanima World Festival of First Animations was created as an opportunity to present the works of Hungarian and international young talents who are at the beginning of their career. The Festival is is back for the 8th time and is going to be held between October 30th and November 2nd in Budaörs.

The programme includes a ton of short animations from students and first-time filmmakers, but we will present feature films (such as Chris the Swiss, The Tower) and will have workshops (strata-cut, film criticism), exhibitions (Gina Thorstensen, Béla Weisz, Lucija Mrzljak, PKE, Primanima 2+8: Posters & Memories) and concerts (Trio Squelini, G-Ras & Roots 4Ward).

The young ones will have something to look forward, too: in Budaörs they can join a fun animation playzone and watch cartoons and there will be screenings all over the country and abroad, as well.

This year, the organisers are also preparing a new programme section for adolescents called PrimaTeen and a special animated documentary panorama. The section Night Moves is dedicated to the hardcore animation lovers.
