Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said there was a good chance the events in Venezuela could lead to a more favourable situation for Hungary on global energy markets at an international press conference in Budapest.
"A new compromise is needed between Budapest and the provinces and between the capital and the government," Gergely Karácsony, the mayor of Budapest, said on Facebook.
There were two victims of Hungarian origin in the anti-Semitic terror attack in Sydney, and the government will provide all possible assistance to their relatives, Peter Szijjártó, the foreign minister, confirmed in Brussels.
It is "unbelievable" that Brussels is launching another infringement procedure against Hungary, this time concerning media freedom, Zoltán Kovács, the state secretary for international communication and relations, said in a post on Facebook.
