'Goose Fest' In Etyek, 14 November
The Goose Fest at the Etyek Gastro Promenade awaits visitors with a varieties of goose dishes, new wine, hot drinks and the extremely popular goose run!

The organizers ask every guest to follow the pandemic rules for a safe and cultural program. In addition to health, the people of Etyek also feel responsible for the hunger of their guests, as they know well that

“Whoever does not eat goose on St. Martin’s Day can eat anything, yet they go hungry. Whoever does not drink new wine on St. Martin’s Day will go thirsty all year long.”

Gastro Promenade guests are trying to avert this danger with must, mulled wine, goose stew, goose liver, special goose foot dessert, strudels and many other delicacies.

One of the most popular programs will certainly be the traditional goose run again in the early morning hours. You can also check in with your own “tuning goose” or choose an organizer-certified serial goose. The task is to guide our feathered friend along the vineyard bordered Etyekring! A magical program for young and old.

In addition to the gastro programs, you can also visit Etyek for hiking or there are 20 e-bikes available for two-hour guided bike rides to explore the magical landscapes of Etyek.

After the Goose Fest, Advent will be held on the Gastro Promenade on 12th December, so as always, it is worth visiting the Vineyard of Budapest.
