Blaha Lujza Square In Budapest To Get HUF 1 Billion Renewal
The Budapest Transport Centre (BKK) has issued a call for tenders on the EU public procurement website for renovating Blaha Lujza tér in Budapest’s Eighth District.

The BKK said the government has promised to provide Ft 1 billion for the project.

After more than five decades, the city hub and meeting place, which has a significant historical and intellectual heritage, will be renewed with a unified design, the BKK added.

The public transport stops are to be made accessible to wheelchairs, the insulation of the underpass will be renewed, a public toilet will be installed, and the traffic order on nearby streets will be slightly modified.
