Hungarian State Secretary: Responsibility Lies With EU To Come Up With New Budget Proposal
The responsibility lies with European Union institutions and the German presidency to come up with new proposals to resolve the standoff concerning the EU’s next seven-year budget and the post-corona recovery fund, Zoltán Kovács, the state secretary for international communications, said in an interview broadcast by the BBC World Service.

“Poland and Hungary did not change their positions for the past four months,” Kovács told the programme Business Daily in connection with a veto announced by Hungary and Poland as a result of the EU’s rule of law conditions linked to the payment of EU funds.
