Owners 'Destroy' Upscale Michelin Star Restaurant In Budapest
Owners of Michelin two-star luxury restaurant Onyx organised an event called Last Supper, at which eight invited guests had a seven-course meal in the restaurant before destroying it with hammers.

The eight guests who ate free at the Sunday night event were selected in a casting process for the performance signalling the start of a renovation of the eatery in downtown Pest.

Owners Anna Niszkács and her mother Katalin Pintér obtained a permit for shooting a film, thereby avoiding the curfew for evening guests.

Niszkács told website 444 that all participants were quick tested for the coronavirus.

She said the filming was genuine and that she would like to see the finished product on Netflix.

The decision on the renovation was made last year. Onyx has been closed since the spring.
