Technical Error Disrupts Budapest Stock Exchange Trading
Trading on the Budapest Stock Exchange was suspended due to a technical error in the trading system, the BSE announced on Tuesday.

After the malfunction was fixed, trading resumed at 2:30 p.m.

The Xetra T7 software developed by the German Stock Exchange, which is used on the BSE, caused similar stoppages on the exchanges in Vienna, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Sofia, Prague and Malta.

The German Stock Exchange stressed that the problem was not caused by a hacker attack.
