Szeged To Host Kayak-Canoe European Olympic Qualifiers Next Year
The Hungarian city of Szeged will host in 2021 the European Olympic Kayak-Canoe qualifiers, the International Kayak-Canoe Federation (ICF) said, adding that the competition, which will also be a World Cup, will take place from May 12 to 16.

President of the Hungarian sports association, Gábor Schmidt, told public broadcaster M4 Sport earlier that the Tokyo Olympics had still been on the cards when Hungary applied to host the World Cup event, but after the Olympics were postponed, the ICF indicated that the Szeged World Cup would be combined with the European Olympic qualifying round.
