Doctors Over 65 Can Resume Medical Practice In Hungary
Human Resources Minister Miklós Kásler on Friday revoked the order prohibiting health¬care workers over 65 years of age from providing direct medical services, the ministry announced.

With a view to the epidemiological situation, the minister asked healthcare providers in the middle of March to ensure that doctors and skilled workers over 65 years should not meet patients personally.

In the interest of preserving the health of family doctors and healthcare staff, the number of meetings between physicians and patients had to be reduced and long-distance consultation was mandated instead.
