Coronavirus: Active Cases Stand At 656 With No New Deaths In Hungary
The number of confirmed people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 4,853. The number of deaths stands at 607, while the number of those recovered now stands at 3,590.

656 is the number of active infected, 64 patients are hospitalized, 6 of them are on ventilators.

The epidemic is still present and widely spreads in several countries, so epidemiological preparedness remains in place.

It is vital for everyone to maintain a 1.5 meters distance from others and cover their face in shops and on public transport.

The operative board in charge of containing the epidemic has advised the government to classify countries into “red”, “yellow” and “green”, based on the severity of the situation in each, Gulyás said, adding that it is continually monitoring infection data from abroad.

Entry from “yellow” or “red” countries will entail undergoing a health check at the border and 14 days in quarantine unless two consecutive negative coronavirus tests taken 48 hours apart within the previous 5 days can be proven.

Hungarian citizens can freely enter from a country classified “green”.
