Korean Film Festival In Budapest, 4 – 10 September
Organised by the Korean Cultural Institute in Hungary, in total 22 films will be screened at Budapest's Corvin Cinema. Here below are the movies being presented, all are welcome to attend as they are shown in the original language with English and Hungarian subtitles. 

FRESH:
Features the latest Korean films from costume dramas to thrillers to documentaries. In addition to the novelty, he focuses on the emerging directions of Korean film.


FACES:
Showcasing one of Korea’s high-impact filmmakers to give audiences a comprehensive picture of each filmmaker. In 2020, Moon So-ri will be working as an actor and director.


FOCUS:
Focuses on a specific topic. This year, 4  women’s films will be presented that dissect the relationship between self-knowledge and repressed desires.


+ EXTRA:
A block of film historical curiosities, independent and art films.
 

+ BONUS:
The section is a special feature of this year, featuring a single outstanding work, Jang Joon-hwan’s  successful film 1987: When the Sun Comes.
