Wizz Air Fined by Budapest Gov't For Substandard Service
The Budapest Government Office has fined Wizz Air Ft 10 million because the customer service office of the low-cost airline failed to meet standards, air and hotel industry blog Szálloda reports.

The customer service office was not engaged in properly managing clients’ complaints, because it dealt with only minor issues, the authority said.

Wizz Air offers only rebooking opportunities on its other flights unless clients ask for other solutions.

The government office ordered Wizz Air to provide an opportunity for clients to make oral complaints in all cases, follow the regulations on offering rebooking options to passengers and to provide proper and full information to clients on refunds of the difference between original and forcefully rebooked ticket prices.
