Covid Update: 105,371 Active Cases 143 New Deaths In Hungary

6,369 new cases were confirmed. The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 452,547. The number of deaths stands at 15,619 while the number of those recovered now stands at 331,557.
105,371 is the number of active infected, 6,867 patients are hospitalized, 677 of them are on ventilators.
So far, 862,953 people have been vaccinated, of which 279,727 have already received their second vaccination.
Due to the drastically rising number of patients, the government decided at Thursday’s meeting to tighten restrictions.
Hungary is on the target line of reopening, but before that, the third wave of the epidemic must be broken, and these are the measures that can be taken to do so. If everyone adheres to these, we can open earlier, life in Hungary can start again sooner.
