To mark Budapest Zoo’s 158th birthday, on August 9 the public was introduced to Csángó and Hargita, two young brown bears. Their arrival ends a two-year hiatus since the last brown bears were introduced in summer 2022.
The Butterfly Garden of the Budapest Zoo is open to the public again, where hundreds of species of eighteen tropical butterflies can be seen.
Until the third weekend in April, the public is invited to enjoy an atmospheric evening lantern parade in the eastern part of the Zoo (to the right of the circus when looking from the Zoo Boulevard).
From the Museum Team: Let’s celebrate the arrival of spring together! Join us on Easter Monday, April 1, as we have a full day of family activities planned for our visitors at the Hungarian Railway Museum!
