New Round of E-Bike Subsidies Opens in Budapest
The government will launch the eighth round of the electric bicycle subsidy tender on Monday morning.

In the latest round, the government has allotted Ft 1 billion for the purchase of e-bikes by individuals.

Subsidies cover as much as half of the purchase price up to Ft 90,000 for e-bikes with cadence sensors and up to 150,000 for e-bikes with torque sensors.

The government has contributed Ft 522 million to the purchase of more than 4,800 electric bicycles at a discounted price.
