Energy Fees in Hungary Among Cheapest In Europe
Household electricity and gas prices in Budapest are still among the lowest among European capitals, according to the monthly report by the energy office MEKH.

Consumers in some major European cities experienced a significant increase in the price of natural gas and electricity at the beginning of the summer, but in Hungary rates remained favourable.

Residential gas prices in Budapest were 2.87 euro cents per kWh, the cheapest among the 26 capitals compared.

Hungarian customers paid the lowest rates for electricity, which cost 10.59 euro cents per kWh, including taxes.
