Brit Media Buys Hungarian Radio Stations Jazzy & Klasszik
Michaeli, Schwartz & Brit, a company also known as Brit Media, purchased Budapest radio stations Jazzy and Klasszik on December 31.

Brit Media is owned by Pál Milkovics and Israeli-Georgian businessman Shabi Michaeli in equal stakes.

It publishes daily Pesti Hírlap, weekly 168 Óra, magazines Elle and Elle Decoration and the Jewish website Neokohn. It also has a minority stake in radio station Klubrádió.

CEO Imre Suri of Magyar Jazz Rádió will continue to lead the radio stations, the new owner declared.

Brit Media promised that programme production will continue unchanged.

The company is expanding, Napi comments, as it purchased Elle in 2021 and might acquire the Hungarian version of Cosmopolitan this year.
