Watch: Hungarian Skater Liu Wins Historic Gold Medal
Shaoang Liu won Hungary’s first-ever individual Winter Olympics gold medal on Sunday, triumphing in the 500-metre skating event.

The victory brings the second gold medal for Hungary at the Beijing games.

Liu was part of the team that won the mixed 2,000-metre skating event last week.

He also won a bronze in the 1,000-metre speed skating contest after his brother was disqualified.
