Bomb Alerts at Popular Spa Baths in Budapest
Both the Széchenyi Spa and the Lukács Bath in Budapest were evacuated last Wednesday afternoon due to bomb threats, Budapest Spas spokeswoman Sarolta Réthy confirmed to Telex.

After fire-fighters searched both buildings and found no explosives, the baths reopened.The National Bureau of Investigations is examining the cases.

Also, Budapest’s Szabó Ervin Library also had to be evacuated later on Wednesday due to a bomb threat.

Bomb alerts multiplied across the country throughout the spring. On one day at the end of April a series of bomb alerts emptied several shopping malls and the Museum of Fine Arts.
