Foreign Buyers Interest in Residential Property Up 10% in Hungary
In the first half of this year, the number of foreigners interested in Hungarian residential properties for sale increased by 10%, which is also due to the weakening of the forint against the euro, according to a recent analysis by ingatlan.com.

Cities that are industrially developed or are home to significant foreign investments and settlements along the border are popular with prospective foreign buyers.

Prospective foreign buyers are primarily interested in real estate in Budapest, as more than 50% of the demand is concentrated in the capital.

Towns and villages in the counties around Lake Balaton are also sought after; they cover 11% of the demand linked to foreigners.
