Home Rental Rates Rise 23%
Average rental rates in Hungary rose by an annual 23% this July, the latest data compiled by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) from listings site Ingatlan.com show. Home rental rates in the capital increased by 25%.

In a month-on-month comparison, home rental rates rose by 2.3%. The increase in the capital was 3%.

The monthly rental rate for a flat in the capital averaged 183,000 forints (EUR 450) in the first half of the year.

In the west of the country, a similar size flat could be rented for 136,000 forints per month.
