Between 10 and 23 July the Hard Rock Hotel Budapest will provide accomodation for opera legend Maestro Plácido Domingo, cellist superstar HAUSER, the crossover star Matteo Bocelli, Harvey Goldsmith, Pablo Sainz Villegas multi-awarded Spanish guitarist, and the young talents of Virtuosos.
The Hard Rock Hotel Budapest will become a hub for classical music: The rising stars will be pampered with the same five-star luxury as the members of the jury and the mentors and will be provided with rehearsal spaces throughout the hotel.
As part of The Virtuosos Production’s mission of making classical music more accessible they would like to offer the public and hotel guests special backstage access to rehersals and organise special concerts all within the Hard Rock Hotel.
“Year after year, we bring classical music closer to people, by featuring amazing young talents and superstars in our show. In 2022, we have found the perfect partnership with the newly opened Hard Rock Hotel Budapest.
The hotel provides the most welcoming accommodation for our artists in the very heart of Budapest. We share a love for music, which made Hard Rock Hotel Budapest a natural partner for us.
Together we plan on amplifying the Virtuosos experience by organizing special events open to the public and Hard Rock’s guests,” says Mariann Peller, founder, and producer of Virtuosos.
“At the heart of Hard Rock Hotel Budapest, there is music. Therefore, we aim to provide a special musical and visual experience for everyone. In Hungary, classical music has a long and colourful past, but beyond the last centuries’ great composers and musicians, we can be proud of the present.
We believe in the power of music and talent, so working with Virtuosos Production is a perfect collaboration for us. We are proud that during this time we can offer unique experiences only available at the hotel for local and international audiences.
What is more, in our Sessions restaurant, we curate a food and bevarage offering inspired by this unique period,” emphasised Gábor Jakab, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Budapest.
Founded in 2014, the 1st international season of Virtuosos was followed by more than 6.8 million TV viewers, with a global reach around 66 million people. The show aims to introduce talented children superstars of the classical music industry.
The participating countries of the show are Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland with guest countries including Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. The show’s format is unique since it is focusing on discovering young classical music talents and their future professional growth along with worldwide opportunities.
The organizers would like the building on Nagymező Street to be a stronghold of culture and classical music, and for the love of music to unite everyone for this period, regardless of gender, age, or musical taste.
Information on programs will be available on the Virtuosos and Hard Rock Hotel’s social media pages and website.
