New Initiative Helps Shoppers Find Price-Capped Food in Hungary
The website holvehetek.hu has been created to inform users about shops where officially price-capped foodstuffs are available, Index reports.

The website is community operated, as users report on the availability of price-capped eggs, potatoes, flour, sunflower oil, pork, chicken, 2.8% fat content milk and granulated sugar.

The appearance of the new website, in response to shortages, is reminiscent of the benzinkut.info website set up to provide information on fuel availability at filling stations.

In addition to foodstuffs, the new website also shows the current availability of fuel.
