Orbán Pays HUF 2+ Million for Family’s Flights on Armed Forces Aircraft
The prime minister has paid Ft 2.2 million to the Foreign Ministry for trips taken by himself and his family members travelling in an unofficial capacity on armed forces aircraft since 2021.

Orbán regularly pays his family’s travel costs since anti-corruption group K-Monitor launched a lawsuit two years ago to find out how much it cost for them to travel to Rome on a government plane

The Ft 2.2 million payment relates to the trip to Rome as well as subsequent travels on five occasions.

Orbán’s press chief told K-Blog that the disbursement occurred “in accordance with past practice” but apparently no such payments were made in 2015-21.
