Households Pay HUF 18,600 for Telecoms in Hungary

Households paid an average of Ft 18,600 a month on telecoms services in 2022, up from Ft 17,800 in 2021, media authority NMHH said in a report.
Mobile telecommunication, including voice and data services, accounted for 60% of the costs, Ft 11,000 on average.
Households paid Ft 4,500 a month for fixed internet and Ft 4,200 for television.
As the proportion of households with fixed-line phones has declined over the years, the average monthly bill was Ft 2,000 last year.
