The stamp features a photo of the pontiff along with the motto of his visit, “Christ is our Future”, Magyar Posta said in a statement.

Given the high demand, a total of 5,000 copies of the stamp are being printed instead of the originally planned 3,000, the service said.

In 2021, Magyar Posta issued a commemorative miniature sheet to mark Pope Francis’ celebration of the closing mass of the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress in Budapest.
