FinTech Sector Expanding in Hungary, Worth Over HUF 220 Billion
Hungary’s FinTech sector has grown to about 175 companies, the National Bank of Hungary (NBH) has said in a report.

Microbusinesses accounted for 55% of the companies, while 85% were focused on B2B activities.

Combined annual turnover of Hungarian FinTech companies was worth more than 220 billion in 2021.

Headcount at local FinTech companies was over 8,000 in 2022.

Just over 4,000 people employed in the sector worked in data analysis and business intelligence.
