20 Aug Fireworks in Budapest Should be Replaced with Drone & Laser Shows, Says Opposition
“Dialogue requests that no fireworks be held in Budapest on August 20”, the party’s EU adviser Benedek Jávor told an online press conference.

Fireworks are “going out of fashion” worldwide as the costs are huge and they are severely hazardous for health, he said.

As examples, Jávor mentioned the light, sound and dust contamination and also toxic substances released into the air.

As alternatives, Jávor said the burden on the environment and the costs of drone games or laser shows are significantly lower than those of a fireworks display, while “they can provide at least as much of a spectacle”.
