Stabbing Scars Ozora Festival Hungary, Foreigners Arrested for Drug Dealing
An Israeli man has been stabbed at the Ozora Festival, in central-western Hungary, and transported to hospital by paramedics, the Fejer County police department said on Facebook.

A member of the transformational and arts festival's security staff alerted police early on Tuesday after an Israeli man in his 30s was stabbed on the festival grounds, the report said.

Two men were taken into custody on suspicion of aggravated assault in connection with the incident, it added.

"To ensure the safety of festivalgoers, police will continue to conduct enhanced checks and are working closely with the organisers to implement the necessary security measures," the police said.

On Monday, a Belgian, an Israeli, and a Portuguese man were apprehended on the festival grounds after being caught in the act of selling drugs. In addition to being taken into custody, proceedings were initiated against them for alleged drug trafficking.

Police said detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing, while officers have maintained an increased presence at the festival.

Enhanced patrols and security checks will remain in place for the rest of the event to help ensure the safety of festivalgoers.

The drug arrests also form part of a broader crackdown on narcotics trafficking at the festival. Hungarian police routinely carry out targeted operations at large summer events around Hungary, focusing on the sale and distribution of illegal drugs as well as public safety.
