President Novák to Meet Zelensky & the Pope
The leading news website believes Ms Novák intends to assess the chances of a peace initiative in Ukraine.

Index quotes information from unnamed sources who suggest that President Novák is pondering how she could promote peace in Ukraine.

After her visit to the Hungarian community in Ukraine’s Subcarpathian region on Tuesday, she will meet President Zelensky in Kyiv on Wednesday and will be received by Pope Francis in the Vatican on Friday.

On Monday she received President Erdogan of Turkey and Index was told by its source that their discussions centred around how the bloodshed in Ukraine could end.

In Kyiv, President Novák will attend the Crimea Platform, an annual summit initiated by Ukrainian President Zelensky two years ago to put diplomatic pressure on Russia over its annexation of the Crimean Peninsula.
