Among others, Trio Mandili, Helsinki-Cotonou Ensemble, Besh o droM, Szilvia Bognár, Magyar Bori and Ági Szalóki, Fanfara Complexa, István Pál Szalonna and his Band, Kerekes Band and Mihály Dresch will give concerts at the 7th Óbuda World Music Week, which takes place from June 23 to 29 in the Kobuci Garden.
In the 1970s, Rhoda Scott was known as “the people's organist” in Hungary. Thirty years ago, Varnus Xaver took over this symbolic baton from her. Today, with 40 million YouTube views and sold-out concerts worldwide, he is one of the top three most famous organists in the world.
Festival goers can enjoy over fifty music events, featuring concerts by international superstars and popular Hungarian artists, as well as high-energy DJ sets, from June 6 to 8.
