Bomb Threats Close Schools Around Hungary
Seven schools across Hungary were closed or evacuated on Monday, due to bomb threats. Two schools in Szeged and two others in Szombathely had to be evacuated, along with one each in Kulcs, Nyíregyháza, and Budapest.

Threats were issued via email in each case, except in Nyíregyháza, where a phone call was made.

Despite thorough police searches, no explosives were found.

Classes resumed in some schools, while others remained closed yesterday.

More than 1,300 schools in Slovakia received bomb threats on May 7, originating from a Russian address but written in Slovak.

The threats, sent to 1,323 schools, invoked the Islamic religion and said explosives had been placed in schools.

Police are investigating both incidents but have not confirmed any connection between them.
