50 New Big Mercedes Buses to Serve in Budapest

A fleet of 50 new articulated buses will arrive in Budapest starting from 2025, Budapest Transport Centre (BKK) announced after signing a ten-year contract with tender winner ArrivaBus.
The contract could be extended by an additional two years.
ArrivaBus will deliver low-floor Mercedes Citaro G buses with spacious seating, air conditioning, onboard cameras, and a modern passenger information system.
Meanwhile, ArruvaBus won the operation tender and signed a contract to run the 50 buses in mid-June.
They will primarily run on routes in south Buda, south Pest and along Rákóczi út, Thököly út and Újpalota.
