Culinaris Gourmet Food Stores in Budapest to be Sold by Száraz?
István Száraz, a close associate of Ádám Matolcsy, has sold Culinaris Wholesale, the wholesaler behind the speciality food retailer, Válasz Online reports.

He is also believed to be in talks to sell Culinaris Retail, though details remain unclear.

Founded in 2003, Culinaris was one of Hungary’s first gourmet food stores, offering high-quality and rare food and beverages.

Zoltán Oláh Bogáthy, the original owner, sold the business to Száraz in 2020.

The group now operates three shops, a liquor store, and a wholesaler.
