New Car Registrations in Hungary Rise - How Many EV's?
The number of new passenger car registrations in Hungary rose 5.7pc year-on-year to 54,588 in January-May, data compiled by the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) show.

Hybrid electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles accounted for 56pc of sales, cars with petrol engines made up 24pc and vehicles with diesel engines 12pc. Fully-electric vehicles accounted for 7pc of sales.

Sales of battery electric vehicles rose 3.2pc to 3,912 during the period.
