Andrea Mahó & Gábor Kovács Live, Orfeum Budapest, 24 July
Organisers are happy to announce that on July 24, Orfeum Budapest will host a special evening where two outstanding performers - Andrea Mahó and opera singer Gábor Kovács - invite the audience on a passionate and unforgettable musical journey, as part of the Musical & More concert.

"Love means belonging to someone without a doubt. Even the air flows differently… it carries softness, and a fire that burns. There is passion, desire, silence, trust  and a hunger… a longing for touch and closeness. Love is present in every song and every glance," says Andrea Mahó.

This show is a true passion project  an evening where romance, instinct, and musical diversity come together to draw a gently curving emotional outline.

Wrapped in the soft glow of lanterns, Orfeum becomes an experience space: the closeness of the audience, the flickering lights in the half-darkness, fine bites and refreshing drinks  all serve to enhance the sensual fullness of the music. In this intimate yet powerful atmosphere, a special balance unfolds between Andrea Mahó’s lyrical femininity and Gábor Kovács’s deep, masculine strength.

Their performance is more than a shared stage  it’s a romantic conversation, a story woven from shimmering moments.

Musical & More presents a rich collection of world-famous musical numbers and timeless classics — from Romeo and Juliet, The Phantom of the Opera, and My Fair Lady to beloved pieces like Adagio, Caruso, and Libiamo from La Traviata.

The show takes the audience on an emotional journey through the many stages of love — longing, nostalgia, seduction, and fulfillment — structured like a love story: sometimes whispered, sometimes soaring, but always filled with passion.Although the audience may arrive as spectators, by the end, they’ll find themselves becoming part of the story.

"Love is there in that very first glance  the one that stays even after the lights go out and the train has left the station. The moment becomes real.Love is not a game. It must be taken seriously. And if you pay attention, you’ll feel it right then and there," says Gábor Kovács.

Musical & More leaves behind something deeply personal: a memory, a melody, a longing… or simply a feeling that’s hard to forget.
