New Protest at Orbán Estate – Ladder, Balloons & Zebra Costumes
Independent MP Ákos Hadházy organised another visit to Viktor Orbán’s father’s Hatvanpuszta estate on Saturday, drawing hundreds of participants two months after his previous demonstration.

Buses brought supporters to the site, where a ladder allowed people to look over the fence and onto the grounds.

Music, balloons, and even zebra costumes gave the protest a lively atmosphere, though police reminded participants not to enter private areas.

Hadházy and publicist Róbert Puzsér addressed the crowd from a small stage.

Hadházy argued that the estate is “the most tangible evidence of the prime minister’s lies”, referring not only to corruption concerns but also to Orbán’s denial of ownership of the property.

He described lavish features inside the compound, including a six-car underground garage, a porcelain-decorated kitchen, a library with a fireplace, and even a special apple storage facility.

Puzsér accused Orbán of betraying the legacy of 1956 and aligning with Russian propaganda, prompting chants from the crowd of “dirty Fidesz” and “Russians, go home.”

He warned that Hungary’s political divisions are deepening, with the fight for undecided voters becoming critical.

Although previous visits raised hopes of spotting exotic animals, protesters this time reported only quad bikes.
