Free Concerts Around Budapest by Festival Orchestra on Evening of 20 November

It’s not long now till another night all about music. On November 20, the musicians of the Budapest Festival Orchestra will once again leave behind the concert halls and immerse themselves in the vibrant nightlife of Budapest – for a Night of Music!
The coolest pubs, cafés, bistros and cultural spaces of Buda and Pest will welcome all who are interested in and open to enriching their evening through mini-concerts with music from the Baroque to jazz or movie scores.
The concerts are free of charge.
The Budapest Festival Orchestra’s special chamber ensembles invite music fans to the most relaxed and casual classical music event this fall at Béla Bar, Buda Collection, Dante Community Creative Centre, Dugattyús, Három Holló Café, ISON, Manyi, Margaux and TACET Brewery.
Everyone will find something to their liking this evening: the concerts will feature not only the classics, but also Baroque, jazz, tango, blues and folk music, as well as Celtic melodies and film scores. Night owls can enjoy works by Mozart, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Verdi, Piazzolla, Shostakovich, Cole Porter, Elton John, John Williams, Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone.
The mini-concerts will begin in the late afternoon and in some places they may continue until midnight. Admission is free at all venues, but it may be a good idea to move quickly to book a table where reservations are accepted, as space fills up quickly.
2025 will mark the ninth time that some of Budapest’s hottest spots are filled with classical music. This year again, the event will be supported by the City of Budapest, and also be part of the city’s birthday celebrations.
