STRAND Festival, Zamárdi, 20 - 22 August
As the Hungarian summer landscape winds down, music lovers look to Lake Balaton for the ultimate seasonal send-off.

Returning to its panoramic home on the public beach of Zamárdi, STRAND Festival is officially locked in from August 20 to 22,  promising an electric mixture of major international headliners and the absolute peak of the Hungarian contemporary music scene.

Following a freshly inked agreement ensuring the festival remains anchored in Zamárdi for the next four years, the 2026 edition features two massive main stages, beachside daytime activities, and immersive electronic arenas.

The 2026 Musical Lineup

STRAND continues its tradition of bridging massive global touring acts with local trailblazers. The initial wave of artists features standout international electronic and alternative names alongside a highly anticipated showcase of Hungary's biggest stadium-fillers.

International Highlights:

Aussie powerhouse Timmy Trumpet, legendary drum and bass outfit Pendulum (Live), hitmaker Robin Schulz, deep house favorite Purple Disco Machine, as well as live spectacles from Sigma and Dub FX.

The Best of Hungarian Pop & Hip-Hop

Groundbreaking phenomenon Azahriah returns to the Balaton shore, alongside iconic stadium rock-pop acts like Halott Pénz, Majka, and Carson Coma.

Contemporary Favorites

The festival will also host major current voices including Beton.Hofi, Dzsúdló, Pogány Induló, Desh, and Valmar, alongside the high-energy throwback anthems of the Necc Party.

Sun, Sand, and Sound: The Balaton Experience

Beyond the late-night concerts, STRAND remains one of the country's most unique festival experiences because of its layout.

Stages are built directly on the grassy shores of Lake Balaton, allowing festival-goers to swim, sunbathe, or participate in beach volleyball and art workshops during the day before the music kicks off in the late afternoon.

Accommodations range from standard festival tent camping to premium pre-pitched options, including on-site "Love Cabins" and "Comfort Igloos" for those looking to enjoy the beachside weekend with a bit more comfort.

Ticket and Pass Information

Various entry tiers are currently available via the official English-language ticketing portal, with special discounts for students under 25.

3-Day Passes: Providing access from Thursday, August 20 through Saturday, August 22.
4-Day Passes: For die-hard fans looking to make the most of the extended weekend, including the special Wednesday opening night events on August 19.
VIP Upgrades: Available for both individual days and full weekend passes, offering elevated viewing platforms, fast-track entry, and exclusive lounge bars.
