Deadline for Household Solar Panel Applications Extended in Hungary
The government has extended the settlement deadline for household solar panel applications financed from the EU’s Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) until September 30, Viktoria Lorincz, the rural development minister, said in a post in social media on Thursday.

The government is helping those who, through no fault of their own, were unable to complete the developments for which they applied for financing, the minister said.

For those whose delays are only due to administrative processes or whose project would be completed soon can still count on the support, Lorincz said, adding that where projects stalled because of contractors letting down clients, the state will collect advance payments from the companies that did not fulfil their obligations, and not from homeowners.
