Meanwhile, More central bank property investments reported to authorities
The National Bank of Hungary (NBH) has reported more property investments undertaken by the central bank's former management on suspicion of misappropriation.
In a statement on Thursday, the NBH said it reported five real estate investments on the basis of a report that indicated they were "significantly overpriced" judging from the deviation between their appraised value and book value.
The NBH earlier reported to authorities the renovation of its headquarters. The latest reports involve the NBH's training centre in Balatonakarattya, on the shores of Lake Balaton, as well as four buildings in the capital, including landmark ones in the Castle District.
